MIM Exercise Physiology provides services that involve the safe and effective delivery of exercise programs for individuals with injuries, chronic medical conditions or disabilities and for those looking to improve their fitness or reach peak performance. We are university-qualified allied health professionals who specialise in exercise prescription and the science of human movement.
We conduct a thorough 60-minute initial consultation to evaluate your presenting conditions, medical history, current health & fitness level, and specific needs. This may involve assessments including measuring blood pressure, body composition, flexibility, muscular strength and imbalances, and cardiovascular fitness.
Based on your assessment results, we then design personalised exercise programs that target your specific goals to meet your individual needs. These programs often include a combination of cardiovascular exercise, resistance training, balance and coordination and flexibility exercises.
We regularly work closely with individuals who are living with chronic conditions such as diabetes, pain, neurological diseases, cardiovascular disease, obesity, and respiratory disorders. We have extensive experience in developing exercise programs that can help manage chronic conditions, improve symptoms, and enhance your overall well-being.
We also continue to play a crucial role and have widespread experience in the rehabilitation process after injuries, surgeries, or illnesses. We develop exercise programs that help individuals regain mobility and strength while guiding safe and effective techniques to prevent further injuries.
We assist individuals who want to improve their fitness levels, lose weight, or enhance athletic performance. We are extremely passionate about working with youths to help improve their motor skills, coordination, strength and power. We will design exercise programs that challenge and progress you to achieve your goals safely and effectively.
Here at MIM Exercise Physiology, we think it’s important to educate and guide various aspects of health and exercise, including proper technique, injury prevention, nutrition, and lifestyle modifications. We also offer support and motivation to help you adhere to your exercise programs.
